Director of Student Development

Cassandre Rose Saint Louis is currently attending Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where she is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She wants to go to medical school and specialize in Cardiology. Cassandre works towards this goal with the vision of making a change in the Haitian health care system.

Throughout her academic years, Cassandre has served as the founder/president of the French Honor Society (FHS), a national chapter for the appreciation of the cultural contributions of the French speaking world, which is still running its course successfully. She was the Vice-President of the Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA), an organization which develops leadership and competency with the integration of Health science education instructional program. Cassandre has worked with many different Haitian organizations such as the Haitian Inter-Cultural Association (HICA) with whom she served as a Secretary and Treasurer for two consecutive years. Other organizations based in Haiti such as Yele Haiti and UNICEF has helped her shape her passion for the Haitian community through her contribution to a series of charitable outreach and fundraising programs that she herself has help develop at her institution. She was awarded the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Award of Excellence for years of 2013-2014.

During her time at Barry University, Cassandre had the chance to work as a Philanthropist and the Alumni Association. She is currently working with the Office of Mission Engagement leading different Poverty awareness and Sustainability programs. Raised in Haiti, Cassandre wishes to give back to her country and dream to make a difference in many lives.
