Kara Vaval Ferrier is the President and founder of the Law Offices of Kara Vaval Ferrier, P.A. She practices in the areas of immigration law, family law and personal injury law and is licensed to practice before all state courts in the State of Florida.

Ms. Ferrier received her B.A. in Political Science and Business Management from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York where she graduated Cum Laude in 2004. Ms. Ferrier received her Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2008. While attending Law School, Ms. Ferrier served as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Citator Law Journal, as Public Relations Officer of the Black Law Student Association and as Co-Chair of the Association of Business Law Students.

Prior to establishing her law firm, Ms. Ferrier worked as an Associate at the Law Offices of Allan M. Lerner, P.A. where she practiced general commercial litigation, securities litigation and corporate law.

Parallel to building her law practice, Ms. Ferrier has also been building a successful Mary Kay business since June of 2009. Her sales and leadership skills have caused Ms. Ferrier to rise to the top 2% of this Multi-billion dollar company in less than 2 years, becoming a Sales Director in December, 2010 and also earning the use her first free career car, a company perk. In March 2011, she earned her second free car with the Company and in June, 2011, she was honored with a Diamond Bumble Bee (the company Mascot) for being #16 in recruiting of approximately 3,000 of her peers in her division. In March 2012, Ms. Ferrier earned her third free Car, the prestigious pearlized Pink Cadillac and in June 2012, her organization was honored for achieving over $400,000 in retail sales that year.

Being both an experienced recruiter and professional herself, Ms. Ferrier intends to utilize her acquired skills and passion to match her fellow professionals with the ideal placements based on their professional and personal needs.
