The Diaspora NGOs are pushing for more investments in Haiti
More and more events and conversations meant to attract investors to Haiti take place in the US, as Haiti struggles to foster reconstruction and development processes. The main target of these events are the educated and wealthy members of the Haitian Diaspora that wants to invest in Haiti.
Following the Haiti Business, Investment Expo, and Conference that took place recently in DC, Haiti Investment and Education Symposium launches in New Jersey to educate the Haitian Diaspora and friends of Haiti about the investment opportunities that the country has to offer.
Organized by The National Association of Haitian Professionals (NAHP) in collaboration with the Joseph Denis Thomas Foundation (JDT Foundation) and New Jersey Haitian Student Association (NJHSA) Alumni, the symposium will take place on July 28, 2012, at the Newark Museum, New Jersey.
