Greetings to our fellow Haitians in the United States,

As you all know the Haitian Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is coming to an end July 22, 2017. The National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals has taken some steps in addressing this situation to the White House, the United States Congress as well as the Department of Homeland Security. Nevertheless, we truly believe that even if we or other organizations in the US have requested for the administration to renew TPS, we the people still have to make our voice heard and request that President Trump follow through on his campaign promise: “Whether you vote for me or not I really want to be your biggest champion.”

NAAHP thinks right now is the time for Mr. Trump and his administration to stand with the Haitian population as our country is still recovering from the horrific disasters that took place recently. Having said that, we urge you to contact your federal elected officials and strongly demand that they stand with us to ensure that this administration does the right thing by renewing TPS for over 50,000 Haitians. Below, find the numbers for some of the states and names of your representatives in Washington, DC. Even if you are not resident of one of those regions, do not hesitate to call. Lastly, please share this message with your friends and families. “L’Union Fait La Force.” “In unity there is strength.”
