The conference agenda highlights the innovation of millennials of Haitian descent, diaspora expertise in technology innovation, \u00a0diaspora investment in Haiti, wealth management, entrepreneurship &amp; small business advisory, advances in workforce and private sector development, and inroads toward empowering women and will include a panel with Haitian elected officials.<\/p>\n<p>Serge Renaud, President of NAAHP shared, \u201cThis year\u2019s conference is focused on providing training in critical areas, such as workforce development, needed to thrive in the professional environments in the Diaspora and in Haiti.\u201d\u00a0 Renaud continued, \u201cWe are happy to be back in New York and too partner with government officials and various organizations to bring the NAAHP Conference back to the tri-state area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The line-up includes\u00a0<strong>nine members of Congress<\/strong>\u00a0as part of the honorary congressional host and host Committees,\u00a0<strong>two ambassadors<\/strong>,\u00a0a number of senior-level government officials from both the U.S. and Haiti, entrepreneurs, senior-level industry professionals, higher education administrators and millennial change-makers which include:\u00a0 Christine Souffrant Ntim, Co-Founder of Global Startup Ecosystem and Host of the Haiti &amp; Ghana Tech Summits, David Toussaint, Founder &amp; CEO, Haiti Tourism Inc., and Shaina Silva, Director, Industry Accelerators at RocketSpace.\u00a0 As with past conferences, the conference will include a kickoff reception on Thursday night, and a closing dinner on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Past speakers and honorees of the conference have included:\u00a0 <strong>Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, Congresswoman Mia Love<\/strong><strong>, Attorney General, Karl Racine<\/strong>; National Urban League President,\u00a0<strong>Marc Morial<\/strong>; Millennial entrepreneur and millionaire,\u00a0<strong>Leanna Archer<\/strong>;\u00a0<strong>C.
