The Spring 2020 college semester was altered by the COVID-19 Coronavirus. As college campuses scrambled to quickly shelter in place under social distancing rules, students at all levels were required to suddenly shift. Join us for an in-depth conversation with experienced educators, administrators and thought leaders on the college student experience during COVID-19 and explore the specific implications for the Haitian Diaspora and the Haitian-American Student community.

Topic Focus Areas

  • Faculty, staff and student wellness approaches at your institution
  • Fall & Summer 2020 enrollment
  • The online learning environment
  • Long term financial implications
  • Emergency Aid for students

Virtual Symposium Goals

The NAAHP COVID-19 Virtual Symposium on the Challenges faced by College & University Presidents (Higher Education part 2) seeks to engage college presidents about the future of their institutions during the pandemic. Utilizing the results of the ACE survey, this guided discussion will explore the impact of Covid19 on the institutional financial viability, remote learning curriculum, and student, faculty and staff mental health.
