Position Title: Manager of Professional Member Outreach & Engagement (South Central Region)  (Virtual)
Department: Member Services
Reports to: Director of Member Services

The Manager of Professional Member Outreach will work closely with the Manager of Member Services, Marketing Department and other Program staff to increase NAAHP’s professional member base and deepen the engagement of other non-profit organizations. The potential candidate will be responsible for the South-Central Region which includes: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ideal candidate should be in this region. This person will be responsible for developing and conducting events or activities for membership recruitment, engagement, and retention; developing monthly member reports for staff; tracking and maintaining member participation and engagement; and coordinating with Member Services staff to develop promotional materials for recruiting new members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make connections with businesses, community foundations, Haitian student organization leaders, community leaders, and others with shared interests
  • Cultivate relationships with new and prospective members
  • Develop and conduct member recruitment events targeted to different groups: Student Organizations, Professionals and Non-Profit Organizations
  • Help prepare and execute communications effort to new and existing members
  • Assist with social media promotion of NAAHP programs and member-related news
  • Work closely with the Member Logistics Department to ensure accurate fulfillment of Neon Database
  • Monitor and analyze member outreach initiatives to measure effectiveness, new member enrollment and member satisfaction
  • Develop new strategies as needed based on data to support and enhance member outreach activities and member engagement


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with working in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable with working in a virtual environment
  • Some experience in providing customer service
  • Experience in developing, executing, and measuring effectiveness of member outreach activities
