Christine Petersen

I am currently employed as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, New Jersey for five years. Before that served as Director of Financial Aid at Lincoln Technical Institute in South Plainfield, New Jersey.  I have more than 20 years’ experience in financial aid and more than 30 years in education in various roles.

My volunteer work includes serving as President of NJASFAA, the New Jersey Association of Financial Aid Administrators and am currently Secretary of EASFAA, the Eastern Association of Financial Aid Administrators and have been members of these associations for more than 20 years.  I hold a bachelor’s degree from Saint Peter’s University and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education with Capella University.
