Dr. Martine Elie

Martine Elie, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a first generation Haitian American Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with 25 years of experience working locally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Elie has provided monolingual and bilingual (English/Haitian Creole) SLP services in school-based, early intervention, juvenile justice, and private practice settings, as well as provided training/administrative work in higher education programs. Dr. Elie has led service learning and teacher training programs in Haiti. She is the President and Founder of the Haitian Caucus of the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Presently Dr. Elie is the Head of Research and Evaluation at the Education Development Institute of the Qatar Foundation in Doha, Qatar.
