Economic Counselor Allen L. Krause arrived to Port-au-Prince in August of 2015. He most recently served in Mexico City, Mexico after previous tours in Casablanca, Morocco and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining the Foreign Service he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon.
Mr. Krause has a B.A. from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI. He speaks French and Spanish as well as limited Arabic. He is married to Najwa Mounir and they have a daughter.
