Associate Vice President of Wealth Management, Morgan Stanley

Gerty Simon joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 with more than 13 years of financial services experience at UBS, where she was a successful investment associate of a leading private wealth management team that managed over $ 3 billion in assets. It was here where she developed the skills to meet the demanding needs of a sophisticated private client base. In her management role at Morgan Stanley, she shares this knowledge with financial advisors, providing them with the proven skills, tools and resources to take their business to the next level.

A native New York, Gerty received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from St. John’s University. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community that has given her so much. Over the years, she has enjoyed mentoring high school girls preparing for college through her involvement in the Student Sponsorship Program and has spent many years raising funds for Timkatec, an orphanage in Haiti founded by her uncle. Gerty is a member of the Morgan Stanley’s Women’s Business Development Council, The Black Employee Network, The Wealth Management Multicultural Networking Group, and the Women’s Business Alliance which has given her the opportunity to help financial advisors expand into new markets. She maintains her FINRA series 7 and 63 registrations, as well as her Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses.
