Cheffe de la Mission Exploratoire Economique Entrepren'Elle

Luckny Guerrier is the instigator and the head of the Exploratory Economic Mission Entrepren’Elle. Now in its third edition, this mission aims to encourage the excellency and the active participation of black women in the economic advancement of society while promoting empowerment as an essential tool for the emancipation of the Haitian woman. Entrepren’Elle gives young entrepreneurs and businesswomen the opportunity to increase their knowledge of women entrepreneurship in Haiti while introducing them to the concept of international market development. Entrepren’Elle also coordinates business delegation’s official visit to Canada.

With over a decade of experience in entrepreneurship and a background in Marketing, Project Management and Administration, Luckny Guerrier gained many new skills and enhanced existing talents from her enrollment at HEC Montréal and while working as Executive Assistant at the Montreal Local Economic Development Center.

A passionnate woman, Luckny Guerrier is also very involved in her community. She has served as a volunteer entrepreneurial trainer for immigrant women who came to Canada after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. She also sat on the Board of Directors of the Société Montréal-Nord 2015. She recently worked as an entrepreneurship and business development Advisor in the South of Haiti for SUCO (Solidarité Union Coopération), an international cooperation and solidarity organization.

In 2014, she was responsible for mobilising citizens into participating in the decision-making structure of a major canadian political party. In the same year she participated in Elan Haiti and became an active member of GRAHN-World, a think-tank and action group for the rebuilding of Haiti.

In March 2015, she was appointed as the first young delegate of the diaspora within the Youth Government of Haiti, an initiative of the Association Des Volontaires Pour La Démocratie (AVD).

In 2016, Luckny Guerrier received the Social Entrepreneur of the year prize awarded by the International Youth Offices of Québec (LOJIQ).
