Awards Gala

As the premier networking organization for professionals and students, the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP) invites you to its 2016 Annual Awards Gala event to be held in Washington DC. The date is Saturday October 1, 2016 at the historic Howard University campus. The Gala’s theme is carried forward from the encompassing 2-day conference titled: “Haiti’s Diaspora Goes to Washington: Leveraging the Diaspora’s Political & Economic Power for the Good of The Homeland”.

In the program we will celebrate the accomplishments and stellar contributions of many high achieving honorees in the following categories: The Millennial Award, Frederick Douglass Award, Professional Excellence, and Human Rights Award.

The award Gala also a wonderful culmination to our annual conference as we present the Haitian Leadership Award Scholarship to deserving college students who demonstrates excellence and leadership.

The black tie and red carpet event will be attended by an influx of dignitaries, influencers, and community leaders who will partake in an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, dinner, but most importantly honoring the extraordinary success and contributions of the top fervent groundbreakers in our community.
