Senior Manager of Partnership Activation and Retention, Miami Dolphins

Cathy Jerome is Senior Manager of Partnership Activation and Retention with the Miami Dolphins where she is responsible for the management of existing corporate partnerships including the development of new revenue opportunities, creating value added opportunities and unique market activation programs. Cathy recently joined the Miami Dolphins after previously serving as Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing for the Baltimore Orioles Baseball Club where she developed strategic marketing plans, managing and strengthening relationships for new and returning corporate partners. She oversaw the implementation and measurement for more than 100 local and national Fortune 500 brands, including AT&T, Bank of America, MillerCoors, Anheuser-Busch, Nike and more. Cathy joined the Orioles in February 2014 and within her first two months, Cathy generated new business revenue worth over $1 million by developing brand strategy and execution plans that exceeded volume, channel and financial goals.

Prior to the Orioles, Cathy served as Partnership Marketing Manager for Monumental Sports and Entertainment (MSE), which owns and operates the Verizon Center in downtown Washington, D.C. and three professional sports teams: The NBA’s Washington Wizards, the NHL’s Washington Capitals and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. She was responsible for developing business plans for marketing partners, managing the implementation of partner initiative and promotion and developing/securing sponsorship opportunities. Additionally, she worked closely with each sponsor to fulfill the elements of sponsorship activation, including game night promotions, in-game media team publications, signage and ticketing. Cathy first joined MSE (formerly Washington Sports and Entertainment) as a Sales intern in 2003.

A proud Haitian American and native of Miami, Florida, Cathy attended the renowned New World School of the Arts High School where she studied musical theater. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Theater Administration from Howard University in Washington, D.C. becoming the first generation of her family to attend college.
