Edwith Theogene

Edwith Theogene is committed to everyone having a seat at the table, professionally and politically, and serves to ensure opportunities that provide such. Edwith works at the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the feminist principles of equality and empowerment. Through her work, she has traveled and organized in 12 different states, working on issues including but not limited to: clinic defense, violence against women, ballot initiatives, and voter engagement. She has been a member of the Women’s Information Network (WIN), Washington, D.C.’s premier professional, political, and social network, dedicated to women helping women climb the ladder of success, since 2013. In 2014, Edwith served as a Co-Chair for WIN’s Conversation Series and was nominated for a Young Women of Achievement (YWA) Award for Community Organizing/Labor Work. She served on the 2015-2016 WIN Executive Committee as the Networks Director, prior to being elected Chair and Lead Principal for the 2016-2017 term. Edwith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and minors in Labor Studies and Anthropology and Sociology, plus a Certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society from Florida International University. She is a Washington D.C. based South Florida Native who loves people, quotes, coffee, and pop culture, especially 90’s tv shows.
