Jean Roseme

Legislative Assistant and Grant Coordinator

Jean Roseme serves as a legislative assistant and grant coordinator to Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson. Since 2011, Jean has supported Congresswoman Wilson’s work to create ladders of opportunity for her constituents in South Florida, spur job creation, strengthen U.S.-Haiti relations, champion immigration policies that reflect American values, advocate for human rights, and secure federal resources. He previously served as an intern, staff assistant, and legislative correspondent. Jean’s journey to the Capitol began in Haiti.

After moving to South Florida as a child, Jean went on to earn degrees in both international business and finance from Florida International University (FIU). While attending FIU, he discovered his passion for public service. He later became the first black person to lead FIU’s Student Senate. Shortly after graduation, Jean moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue his passion.
