Madwa-Nika Phanord-Cadet is currently a M.P.P. candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Originally from Montreal, Canada, she holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Sherbrooke, and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association.
She has gained professional experience in leading private law firms in Canada and China and has several years of service in student government and youth politics, for which she has received various recognitions and scholarships. Madwa-Nika enjoys reading, writing, travelling, and practicing yoga, and she speaks French, Haitian Creole and is conversant in Spanish.
