Smiff A. Paul Lormier attended Paris VIII University in France, where he majored in psychology. He holds certifications from Quisqueya University, Lufthansa Consulting, the Entrepreneurship Institute of Haiti, and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
After the earthquake in 2010, Smiff began working at Fondation l’Athlétique d’Haiti as volunteer psychosocial facilitator. In September 2014, he was promoted to Director of Leadership and Development.
In November 2014, Smiff decided to start a backpack and accessories manufacturing company, NOVAC Collection. As Co-Founder and CEO, his main responsibilities are in product design, production management and account management. He is excited to discuss the potential growth opportunities for small manufacturing businesses in Haiti looking to expand internationally.
