Tara Arthur has a passion for working on cross cutting solutions aimed at improving the lives of underserved populations, both domestically and internationally. As a development professional, she is a Program Coordinator for ChildFund International where she works with country offices around the world on advocacy efforts centered on protecting children from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence. For over 10 years, Ms. Arthur has volunteered her time as the International Coordinator and Technical Advisor for the Haitian Sports Foundation a 501©3 non-profit organization in the US and in Haiti, which improves the health of Haitian youth through sport and education. She holds an M.A. in international development from Clark University and has over 25 years of experience in martial arts. Her professional and academic work has been recognized by various institutions including being previously named one of Loudoun Businesses’ top 30 Young Professionals under 30.
