Florida Association Director of Nursing Administration (FADONA) Region VII Vice-President

Mrs. Dubuisson was born in Jacmel, Haiti. She moved to United States in 1990 after graduating from High School. She has been a nurse for over 18 years. She started her Nursing Career as a LPN. She continued her nursing education at Miami Dade College earning her Associate of Science degree in nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing, Business Administration and Healthcare management from the University of Phoenix. She worked as the Corporate MDS and Care Plan supervisor for DOS healthcare and was responsible for overseeing twelve Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities. She is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She worked as Director of nursing for more than eight years. In 2011, she became the Regional Director of Clinical services for Greystone Health Care Management, overseen six hundred beds in three facilities for two years. Currently, she is the Area Clinical Executive with GHCM oversees most of the GHCM facilities in five regions. She is in charge of the clinical operations; and oversees the Activity & Social Services Departments.

Mrs. Dubuisson has been a member of the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) for the past 10 years. She served as the first and second Vice President of the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) from 2009-2013. She held the position as HANA treasurer from 2007-2009. Mrs. Dubuisson is also a former treasurer & secretary of the Haitian American Professionals Coalition (HAPC). She is currently the Florida Association Director of Nursing Administration (FADONA) Region VII Vice-President. She works closely with the FADONA Broward and Dade Chapter.

Mrs. Dubuisson is married and blessed with four beautiful children. She enjoys volunteering and providing care to the underserved population through various Medical Missions and Health Fairs. Every year, she travels to Haiti and Dominican Republic in Medical Missions. In 2010 after the earthquake in Haiti, she made more than six trips in Medical Mission providing care to the affected Haitians. She strongly believes that there is nothing more rewarding than helping the helpless and the underserved people. Mrs. Dubuisson believes that everyone has a purpose in life and her purpose is to help people. At work, she is the employees mentor and great supporter. She helps her employees setting personal goals and assists them on achieving them. Her success is mainly defined by the success of her kids, her employees and others around her. Her biggest achievement has been her ability to give back to the community. If we can’t change the world at once, one thing we know for sure we can always make a difference on someone’s life. It is her belief that each individual can make a difference. However, it is for sure one can’t do it alone. Therefore, we need to continue to work together; every little bit does really count and will contribute to the change that each one of us is striving for.
