Aude M. L. Sicard, MBA

Former President of Haitian American Democratic Club

Ms. Sicard has a Master in Business Administration/Health Care Management (MBA/HCM), 2007, a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Political Sciences at Florida International University in 1995, an Associate in Sciences in Business Administration/Management at the Miami Dade Community College in 1989. She has been employed by Jackson Health System for the past 30 years.

The highlights of her career have been in influencing the policy makers at Jackson Health System (JHS) to implement changes in documentation requirements and most importantly in training financial assessment staff to have a better understanding of immigration laws and their impact on Access to Healthcare. Throughout her career, she has focus in politics, immigration issues and access to healthcare. Ms. Sicard has published articles on Immigrant Elders Access to Health Care.

She has been recognized for her community service and accomplishments by different organizations. Her latest recognition was the Award Women of Distinction by the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce. She has held different leadership position such as the President of Haitian American Democratic Club – 2010 to 2015 and Executive Board Member of the Council of Clubs President Broward Democratic Executive Committee – 2011. Ms. Sicard also initiated the incorporation of Women Alliance of Miami-Dade & Broward, Inc. a not-for-profit organization whose mission continues to be advocating for immigrants, since 1998.
