Joseph Max Veve II is a civil engineering graduate from the very prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He is also an alumnus of the Miami Dade Honors College. He is currently working at Pond and Company as a transportation engineer. Mr Veve has worked previously as a researcher for Georgia Tech on transportation projects sponsored by the city of Atlanta and the Georgia Department of transportation. He has also provided assistance in HTML web development. Throughout his undergraduate years, Mr. Veve has been known for his deep involvement in extracurricular activities both at his schools and his community. He was elected President of the Miami Dade College North Campus’ Haitian Student Association before serving as the Vice-President of the Caribbean Student Organization at Georgia Tech. He is now the current serving Vice-President of See-Far association, a nonprofit organization with community involvement in Miami and Jacmel. In 2013, he received the exemplary Haitian American student recognition from county commissioner Jean Monestime. He received recognitions for his mathematics performances and was spotlighted in South Florida Times by journalist Robert Beatty. He was also nominated by the Florida College System as Florida Chancellor’s student for the month of July in 2014.

Joseph Max Veve was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. He moved to the United States after his high school graduation in 2010, shortly after the devastating earthquake that left his Nation crippled. He came to the United States with the determination of getting a good education in order to contribute to the reconstruction and development of his country. He holds an associate degree from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech. He is very excited about working with NAAHP as the volunteer coordinator and hopes that he may influence other young professionals like him to join the organization.
