Sainte-Fanie Jean-Baptiste

Sainte-Fanie Jean-Baptiste is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, now completing her Master’s degree in Accountancy, with a specialty in Taxation. Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Sainte-Fanie has had the opportunity to study abroad in Valencia, Spain and later intern in London, UK. These experiences afforded her the opportunity to explore and develop new perspectives to tackle some of the issues within our local Haitian community. In 2012, Sainte-Fanie founded a nonprofit organization, Walk My Shoes, Inc. upon the belief that juvenile delinquency starts where opportunity ends. Walk My Shoes works with at-risk high school students in Dade County and assists them in pursuing higher education. More recently, Sainte-Fanie placed 1^st Runner Up in the Miss Haiti International pageant system and carries her title as Miss Port-au-Prince International for the year 2014-2015.
