Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Sandra Marcel is in her fifth year of Electronics Engineering at the Faculty of Science, State University of Haiti. She has always believed that the youth is the symbol of tomorrow’s society and that they have the key to a sustainable and futuristic Haiti in their hands, her engagement with IEEE-Haiti (IEEE FDS UEH) is the tangible proof. It is the opportunity to open her eyes over the world, face the needs of the world where priorities are driven by different realities from the ones she knows. Basically, it is her way to become active, better proactive!

With Earth Spark Intl. (Eneji Pwop) Sandra understood how getting socially involved, working with and for those in difficulty can be beneficial to development. She is dedicated to improve the quality of life of her congeners with an increased desire to respect and promoting the respect of the environment. From her experience at Eneji Pwop S.A., Sandra has developed a particular interest in renewable energy.

Given the energy, ecological and economical situation of Haiti, Sandra’s goal is to make renewable energy, particularly solar energy, available for all.
