Ms. Widline Luctama holds a Bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations with a minor in Spanish at Seton Hall University. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Healthcare Administration with concentrations in Global Health also at Seton Hall University. While attending school, she also works full time at Family Centers in Connecticut as an integral part of the Administrative Team where she provides support to staff, conducts intakes in English, Spanish and Creole and acts as the point of contact for clients seeking services.
Ms. Luctama is the secretary and founding member of Radio Union Plus in Haiti, general secretary of Organisation pour le Development de La Plate, a non-profit organization also in Haiti. In addition, she is a Board member and Haitian Flag Day Chair for Haitian Resource Center in White Plains, NY. Her experience includes working in Washington, DC with International Action, in Elizabeth, NJ with International Rescue Committee, and traveling to Spain to improve her Spanish language skills. Her passion for Haiti has led her to travel back in December 2013 to teach English at Academie Nationale Diplomatique et Consulaire, one of the most prestigious diplomacy schools in Haiti. She also provides free consultant and translation services to non-profit organizations working to better the lives of Haitians living in Haiti and in the United States.
By volunteering with several grassroots organizations in Haiti and in the U.S., she aims to use her array of expertise to benefit underprivileged persons all around the globe, especially in Haiti.
