This session will offer an exploration of how to nurture and take control of our health at the physical, mental and spiritual level. Specifically, this session will address depression in the community as a hidden and masked epidemic that we need to do a better job at identifying culturally. It will also explore the systemic oppressions and traumas (racism, displacement, asylum, violence, etc.) and their negative impact on our health as a community.
