Albert Pierre Paul Joseph

Albert Pierre Paul Joseph has worked in the field of development for over twenty years with a diverse group of national and international institutions and donors. For the past 12 years, he has been devoting his skills to the development of the agricultural sector in the Northeast department of Haiti as co-founder and CEO of CLES and Director of Production Sans Frontières, a for-profit rice mill operated by CLES. This NGO works with a network of private, public and community players to secure economic opportunities in strategic sub-sectors, notably rice, which is currently experiencing significant productive and economic growth in the Northeast region. Albert has been the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Northeast for the past six years. As such, he has instilled a new vision of entrepreneurship and fostered constructive and productive leadership igniting economic development that benefits the greater Northern region. He firmly believes that by acting together, through the convergence of ideas and resources, with clear and shared objectives, collective efforts will produce better results and the country will experience transformation and inclusive economic growth for millions of Haitians trapped in poverty. Albert holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of Haiti.
