Antoine Junior Melay
Executive Vice President, Pipeline with Purpose

Antoine Junior Melay is the Executive Vice President at Pipeline with Purpose (PwP) a talent pipeline management and consulting company with a strong purpose to help improve productivity and close the opportunity gap for highly-qualified minorities to succeed in the American corporate landscape. He is also the Director of Experiential Education & Lecturer of Leadership at Emmanuel College School of Business. His primary responsibility is to work closely with the Department Chair, and the Career Center to develop management, accounting, economics and marketing-related internship and other experiential learning opportunities for Emmanuel College business students in metro Boston. He is also responsible to develop collaborative and strategic relationships with local employers and industry associations and the ongoing coordination with employers during students’ internship experiences. Prior to Emmanuel College, He was the Vice President of Client Relations for Workforce Development Training at Windwalker Group. His primary responsibility was to lead the strategic growth and the delivery of workforce development trainings in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and other states. He was an Adjunct Lecturer in the Management Division of Babson College, where he taught Strategic Problem Solving. Mr. Melay also taught Financial Accounting at Pine Manor College and International accounting adjunct lecturer at Suffolk University.
Mr. Melay currently serves on the board of Boston Arts Academy (BAA) Foundation, Operation ABLE, Carroll Center for the Blinds, Salvation Army-Greater Boston Advisory Board, RedRover (Sacramento, CA) and Carney Hospital’s Community Benefits Council. He is the former president of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Boston and responsible for corporate relations for the organization. Over the years, he has worked in various public and private institutions, including Liberty Mutual, the Division of Insurance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the American International Group (AIG). Prior to that, he was an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). He was appointed to the board of Bunker Hill Community College by the former Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2011. While serving this board, Melay became the second Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and former Chairman of the Audit Committee. Lastly, in his role as the State Coordinator for the Association of Community College Trustees in the Commonwealth, he was responsible for the fifteen community colleges across the state.
Mr. Melay serves on several committees and councils working to promote leadership, community engagement, and economic development. He is a member of the Latino-Jewish Roundtable, an organization working to advance alliances and partnership between the Latino and Jewish communities. He has been instrumental in promoting ADL’s philosophy and core values through various initiatives, events, and programs. In addition, he was the Co-Chair of the Nation of Immigrants Community Seder, along with the Mayor of Boston, Martin J. Walsh, and the Cardinal, Sean Patrick O’Malley. In May 2012, Mr. Melay was appointed by Mayor Joseph Curtatone to serve on the City of Somerville Jobs Advisory Committee to assist in assessing and examining their workforce development system and their landscape of Somerville’s job market with the ultimate goal of providing policy recommendations. The Jobs Advisory Committee was instrumental in the expansion of the Assembly Row development in Somerville in 2013.
He is currently a Diversity and Inclusion consultant at Babson College D&I Office and He serves as a mentor to Bentley University NABA chapter and the Boston Metropolitan chapter members by conducting community speaking engagements to motivate students to reach for higher goals. In addition to his very busy professional life, he is a husband and father to a very active eleven-year-old son named Weslay and a 6-year-old daughter named Whitney. He received his MBA and BS in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Bentley University.
