Athalie Cayo

Special Projects Coordinator, NAAHP

Athalie is an individual who thrives on being dedicated and professional in both her career and her personal life. In her current role as an Academic Advisor in higher education, she takes great pleasure in managing and facilitating academic/support groups to a diverse student population and providing them with a great level of service as they grow on their academic journey. Athalie is a champion of social justice through her work in her local community and with the National Council of Negro Women.

Coming from a Haitian background, Athalie is committed to making a positive impact in Haiti. She hopes to empower members of the Haitian diaspora to be active participants in the Haitian economy, either as investors or customers.

Athalie holds an MBA in Project Management from Post University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut. In Athalie’s s spare time, she is an avid reader of non-fiction and history-based novels, enjoys hiking through various trails in Connecticut, and enjoys trying different cuisine.
