Calvin Conyers
Vice President of Admissions, National Aviation Academy

Calvin Conyers, a native of Englewood, N.J., graduated from Dwight Morrow High School before pursuing higher education at Mount Ida College. There, he excelled as a student-athlete, serving as captain of both the basketball and football teams. After earning his degree, Calvin was offered a position in admissions at Mount Ida, where he discovered his passion for higher education. He quickly realized that his true calling was to help underprivileged students and students of color gain access to higher education.
Today, Calvin is the Vice President of Admissions at the National Aviation Academy. His career includes notable roles as Chief Enrollment Officer at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, as well as Senior Associate Director of Admissions at both Wheelock College and Mount Ida College. With over 20 years of experience in admissions, Calvin has been recognized for his contributions, receiving the “People Making a Difference in Our Community” Award from the National Urban League Incentives to Excel and Succeed.
Calvin holds a BS in Business Administration and a Certificate in Leadership Studies from Mount Ida College, as well as an MA in Communications with a focus on Education from Grand Canyon University.
