Calvin Conyers was born and raised in Englewood, N.J. where he attended and graduated from Dwight Morrow High School. Calvin went on to college at Mount Ida where he played and served as captain for both the basketball and football team. Upon graduating from Mount Ida, he was offered a job in admissions there at the school. Currently Calvin is the Chief Enrollment Officer at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology. Prior to joining BFIT as Director of Admissions in 2016, Calvin served as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at Wheelock College and also worked in the admissions office at Mount Ida College. In addition to his accomplishments in his 16-year career in admissions, Calvin was honored with the “People Making a Difference in Our Community” Award by the National Urban League Incentives to Excel and Succeed. Calvin earned a BS in Business Administration and a Certificate in Leadership Studies from Mount Ida College and his MA in Communications with a focus in Education from Grand Canyon University.
