Daphnee Floreal is a multifaceted entrepreneur known for her innovative spirit and dedication to craftsmanship. She launched her first venture, Bijou Lakay in 2005 in Haiti, igniting her passion for handcrafted jewelry. The positive reception and success of her initial creations motivated her to further hone her craft.

Bijou Lakay features a unique collection of handmade accessories for women, crafted from locally sourced, recycled natural materials like horn, bone, and wood. These pieces are produced by skilled artisans who utilize traditional techniques, embodying a rich cultural heritage. Daphnee’s journey in the crafts industry has equipped her with valuable insights into the challenges of small business ownership, encompassing branding, marketing, budgeting, and public relations.

In addition to Bijou Lakay, Daphnee runs her financial practice with New York Life, where she collaborates with families and business owners to create personalized financial strategies aimed at securing their futures. She holds an Executive MBA and has a solid background in banking, finance, investment, and management. From 2020 to 2022, she had the honor of serving as COO of the Agency for Investment Promotion in her home country.

Recently, Daphnee co-founded Business Bridge, a company focused on connecting and supporting Haitian and Caribbean institutions and businesses in various aspects of management and projects development.
