If you could define Dave in one word it would be altruism. Dave believes that paying it forward is one of humanity’s greatest gifts. During his senior year of high school, Dave wrote and published a book called “Into the Abyss: The Eleventh Grade Experience”. In this book, Dave talked about how to succeed academically, how to maximize one’s extracurriculars, and how to navigate high school. From an early age, the people around Dave dared him to dream and he wanted to do the same for others. Dave plans to one day return to Haiti and utilize the knowledge he has learned to empower his people and country. His family and community grounds him and his Haitian culture humbles him. With this support, Dave hopes to make an impact in Haiti and the world.
