Djénane St-Fleur

Vice President, Haitian American Chamber of Commerce servicing Broward and Palm Beach counties

In 1998, Djénane St-Fleur migrated to Florida, since she has always been a community advocate. She is presently the President of Afro Caribbean Groove PR Inc. and she is also the Vice President of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce servicing Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Mrs. St-Fleur serves as the Chairperson for Haiti with the Lauderhill Sister City, where she is also the vice-President since 2004 and sit on the board of the Broward Cultural Division. Djénane St-Fleur carries the Haitian culture in her Heart and everywhere she goes. She is involved in various cultural, health fairs, social activities varying from Haitian Heritage Month, Breast Cancer Awareness, Kreyol Month, and political campaigns to ensure that community’s interest is voiced.

Mrs. St-Fleur holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology. She is working on a Master’s Degree in Project Management and Public Safety.

Mrs. St- Fleur has used her technical background to engage in strong marketing campaigns to promote several activities (Literacy, Fashion, Music and Film). These marketing strategies and practices led to the creation of her own show “ Prekosyon Pa Kapon” a weekly community show well listened to by a large audience of Broward and abroad as she is also a cancer survivor several times. Djénane St-Fleur also serves as a business consultant to academic institutions addressing the use of technology as an educational tool. Mrs. Gourgue was nominated as one of the 2018 Women of Distinction by the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce in March 2018 and has received several awards for her work in the community in advocacy as a breast cancer survivor. She is very involved in the Diaspora in the promotion of Haitian culture, jazz music and arts.
