Dominique Dupuy

Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE)

Dominique Dupuy, born in 1990 in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, is a distinguished diplomat and politician. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international development from McGill University in 2012. Fluent in French, Haitian Creole, English, and Spanish, Dupuy was appointed Haiti’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO in 2020. In this role, she successfully advocated for the inclusion of Haiti’s Soup Joumou in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. On June 12, 2024, she was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Religious Affairs, and Haitians Living Abroad, where she continues to advance Haiti’s diplomatic and cultural interests on the global stage.
