Dr. Sandra Hampton

Associate Dean of General Education, Chamberlain University College of Nursing

Dr. Sandra Hampton is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in academia. With a background in Physiology, Dr. Hampton brings a unique perspective to every endeavor. Dr. Hampton currently works at Chamberlain University College of Nursing on the North Brunswick New Jersey campus. There she has served as both Associate Dean of General Education and Associate Professor of Science.  In addition, she is affiliated with the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society.

Known for her passion of teaching and cultivating scholars, Dr. Hampton is committed to excellence in all aspects of her work. She thrives in dynamic environments and is always eager to take on new challenges. Her moto is “nothing worth having is easy”. She believes that hard work and dedication to your craft will always work in your favor.

Dr. Hampton attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Upon graduation, she entered Howard University in Washington, D.C. where she received her Doctoral degree in Physiology by the age of 29.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Hampton is a member of Alpha Kappa Sorority Inc., since 1990.  She is a wife, a mother, and loves spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys exercising and long walks with her fur baby. Dr. Hampton believes in the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle and finds inspiration in staying focused on God and always keeping family first.
