Strategic Initiative Director, Haiti Allies

Dr. Semline Singleton currently serves as the Strategic Initiative Director for Haiti Allies and holds a part-time position as an assistant professor at Kennesaw State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. She completed her PhD in International Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University, focusing her research on return migration among the Haitian diaspora.

Dr. Singleton is deeply committed to advancing the Haitian people and is passionate about contributing to their progress in any way possible. She is dedicated to community service and actively seeks opportunities to give back. She is currently the Georgia Regional Director of a community service organization called SISTUHS, Incorporated, which seeks to improve the social disposition of underrepresented populations, specifically the Black Community, through community development, education, and the provision of other social services in our respective communities.

As a young professional, her aspirations include furthering her involvement with NAAHP, establishing connections with fellow professionals, and continually expanding her knowledge to become a more effective advocate for Haiti.
