Esther Merilien, BSN, RN

Ms. Merilien, is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of clinical and educational positions. Prior work settings include for profit, not for profit, teaching and healthcare hospitals. Her scope of practice covers leadership, emergency services, critical care, medical/surgical, outpatient clinic and nursing education. She has developed and lectured several educational materials for the public and acute care settings. As a 2010 graduate of the BSN program at University of Phoenix, Ms. Merilien is now currently enrolled at South University studying seeking an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification with a Master of Nursing degree. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac and Vascular lab at a local public hospital and is an active member of The Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida, Inc. since 2013, holding a position as Chair of Marketing. As a volunteer with this organization she is responsible for preparing, and coordinating multiple educational seminars for the community on chronic disease during health fairs, TV/radio shows, providing humanitarian relief throughout the United States and abroad on medical mission trips.
