Jason A. Halliburton is a business leader, entrepreneur, a first generation American who is a champion for unity and inclusion. He is a strong advocate in providing access to our underrepresented and underprivileged through the power of education, equity ownership and disruptive innovation. Halliburton serves as Founder of The Halliburton Group, a boutique-like Family Legacy & Investment Advisory team in the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Atlanta Market. He serves on the Merrill National NexGen Leadership Council, as Co-Chair of the Digital, Committee. He also served in the capacity of the Growth Committee Co-Chair, for the Merrill Black Executive Leadership Council, Atlanta Chapter.
Before joining Merrill, Halliburton was part of an Atlanta based boutique Private Equity firm. The focus was on the acquisition of lower middle market, owner operator service companies in the Southeast, with revenues of $50 to $250 million annually. Building those service businesses through growth capital, a strategic focus on improving systems, process and top-line growth, allowed the creation of both an effective and opportunistic exit strategy. He was appointed to the Corporate Cabinet of The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. And has been involved as a Legacy Advisor for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta along with the distinct pleasure of being a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. He serves as a Graduate Student Mentor for the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. And with a strong connection to his heritage, he was also the Founding Board Member of the Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta Inc. He was also featured in Forbes, December 2022 in regard to his Wealth Management Practice and commitment to his clients.
Over his lifetime, he has built long-term, caring relationships on the foundation of trust, honesty and committed service, and is recognized for his steadfast commitment to community. He was honored to serve as a civilian Law Enforcement Supervisor for the U.S. Department of Defense and as a result, was a recipient of the United States Patriotic Employer Award.
