Jeannette Smith, R-PA-C

Jeannette Smith, R-PA-C is an experienced and dedicated Physician Assistant with a strong background in gastroenterology, occupational health, and preventive medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Jeannette currently practices in gastroenterology, where she specializes in patient-centered care, including comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic interpretation, and management of both acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. She is passionate about educating patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health.

In addition to her clinical work, Jeannette has experience in occupational medicine, having served as an Occupational Physician Assistant for the New York/New Jersey Port Authority. In this role, she conducted pre-employment and promotional medical evaluations, assessed workplace injuries, and ensured employee fitness for duty in high-responsibility roles such as law enforcement.

Jeannette is also deeply committed to promoting wellness and preventive health. Through her involvement in weight loss and fitness initiatives, she advocates for healthy lifestyle choices, discipline, and overall well-being as key components of long-term health.
