Jenny Tessa Marcelin

Jenny Marcelin is the Assistant Director of Admissions at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT). Jenny is a 2020 graduate of the Opticianry program at BFIT. She also holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts of Boston and a Master of Business Administration from Cambridge College. Prior to joining BFIT’s Admissions team, Jenny served as Human Resources Assistant at Bentley University and as a Financial Aid Assistant at Wheelock College.

When not working, Jenny volunteers her time on the Board of Directors of Sitters for Scholars, a non-profit organization that offers free to low-cost weekly babysitting services to low-income parents attending college in the Greater Boston area. Jenny is an Associate Director on the board of the Opticianry Association of Massachusetts, and a founding member of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee of the Opticianry Association of America.
