Joanne Alexis Bounouni is a computer engineer, economic development strategist, and social impact entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience. She is the Founder and CEO of GECA Haiti, a business advisory firm specializing in inclusive growth and investment readiness, co-founder and Executive Director of Bracing Neighbors, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and youth in Haiti through impact-driven entrepreneurship and workforce development for financial independence.
Under her leadership, Bracing Neighbors has mobilized over $2.7 million in funding and supported 900+ families since 2021. A passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment and outcome-based financing, Joanne also serves as the G100 Country Chair for Financial Empowerment & Inclusive Policies in Haiti. She is a champion of systems change, blending data, capital, and community to build resilient futures.
