Jude Jean-Baptiste

Jude Jean-Baptiste is the founder and CEO of Paon Bleu S.A., a fintech company focused on transforming financial services for underserved communities. Born in Seville Spain, to two medical students who returned to work in Haiti, where he grew up with a love and understanding of the country. With a background in Healthcare Administration and Computer Science from St. John’s University, Jude’s career began in leadership roles within the financial sector, in Haiti at Citibank where he identified the potential for technology to address financial inclusion challenges. He held various financial management positions in the NGO and private sector.

In 2018, he launched Paon Bleu, at the time Haiti’s first and only digital lender, and under his leadership, the company developed Bousol, a digital financial platform built on the Stellar Blockchain. Bousol offers peer-to-peer payments, merchant transactions, remittances, and group lending, making financial services more accessible. Key partnerships with the IDB and Mercy Corps have furthered the platform’s reach, and in 2024, Bousol was awarded by the Georgia Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, the Haitian Innovation Award for its groundbreaking work in financial inclusion.

Jude continues to lead Paon Bleu’s growth, positioning it as a leader in fintech innovation and financial empowerment.
