Macollvie J. Neel is a writer, editor, and communications consultant focused on elevating voices in workplaces and media spaces through her work in journalism and communications.

As a journalist, Macollvie serves as executive editor of The Haitian Times. She leads editorial content strategy, coaches reporters to bring forward the nuanced experiences of this underrepresented community, and provides commentary about Haiti on NBC, CBS, NPR, and other outlets. As a freelancer, she contributes to Insider, Yes, and Feet In Two Worlds.

In her communications consulting roles, Macollvie develops plans and content to support strategic programs at Fortune 500 companies. She also crafts communications for ambitious professionals who prioritize career advancement to navigate their jobs. Macollvie explores these topics in her forthcoming book, “Scripts for Success.”

Prior, Macollvie held senior communications roles at Disney, MetLife and Mercer as well as journalism role at the Sun Sentinel and The Haitian Times.

Macollvie holds an M.B.A. from Florida International University and a B.A. in business communications from the City University of New York – Baruch College. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
