Marie Andree Parent, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, APRN
President, Haitian American Nurses Association of Georgia

Marie-Andree Parent is the president of the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) of Georgia. She previously served as President elect, and as secretary when she joined the organization in 2019.
She is a duo Board-Certified nurse practitioner. She completed her Post Master’s degree at Regis College, Weston, MA in Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; her Master’s degree at Walden University in Family Nurse Practitioner, Minneapolis , MN and her Bachelor’s degree at Adelphi University, Garden City, NY.
Prior to emigrating to the United States, she studied Public International Law at the Université Robert Schuman, Strasbourg, France and completed her Law Studies at the Faculté de Droit et des Sciences Economiques, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
She is currently lives in Cobb county with her family.
She is the CEO of Guardian Health Group, a mental health practice, where she is providing services online and in person.
As a provider and preceptor, she believes in empowering her clients and her nurse practitioner students in reaching their full potential.
When she is not working, she likes embarking in activities such as hiking walking, and playing volleyball. She also enjoys meditating, dancing, listening to music, traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
