Marie C. Emmanuel is a highly experienced Adult Education Instructor and Specialist in English as a Second Language (ESL) for Clayton County Public Schools, under the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). With over 30 years of dedication to the field of education, Mrs. Emmanuel has empowered adult learners from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures, helping them achieve their full potential.

Born to Haitian immigrants who arrived in the U.S. in the 1950s, Mrs. Emmanuel embraced her rich cultural heritage from an early age, fostering a deep commitment to supporting immigrant communities. Her passion for education became a driving force in her advocacy, recognizing its critical role in equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in new environments. In the early 1990s, Mrs. Emmanuel extended her efforts to underprivileged and at-risk youth in Miami, serving as a liaison between community leaders and educators. She played a pivotal role in helping Haitian children transition into the American education system, with many going on to excel in higher education and pursue successful careers in fields such as healthcare, law, and civics.
