Community Manager, Tech Goes Home

MarS (Li/All Pronouns) comes from a Haitian family, with Irish ancestry, in Hyde Park, Boston MA. They’ve spent half their life working with marginalized youths that are new immigrants, living in group homes, on the spectrum, those with visual impairments and other disabilities. As Community Manager at Tech Goes Home, MarS is actively working to build community in the fight against digital inequities and other systemic oppressions by co-creating spaces for healing and liberation.

Throughout their career, MarS has been committed to growth and learning to leverage their skills across overlapping fields. MarS is certified in Social Justice Mediation from Vital Village Networks at BMC and also certified in Community Leadership and Social Change from Tufts University and the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. They are also a Registered Behavioral Technician and are currently wrapping up their BA in Management, Operations & Logistics, at Southern New Hampshire University.

In their free time, MarS serves as a co-circle-keeper for Come thru, Sis – a Healing/Spiritual Circle for Black Afro-Indigenous Womxn and Gender-Queer Folx. They are a loving parent, partner, & community member. Their favorite things to-do includings arcades, field games, joking, and being in community with their friends.
