Vice Mayor Mary Estimé-Irvin

Vice Mayor, District 3, North Miami Florida

Vice Mayor Mary Estimé-lrvin has been serving District 3 residents and North Miami residents since 2019 in the great City of North Miami. Vice Mary Estimé-lrvin is an accomplished business leader and a devoted civic advocate. She is the current Managing Partner of Estime & Irvin Consulting, LLC, and former President and Chief Executive Officer of E&I Associates, a South Florida-based staffing and recruiting agency. Before founding Estime & Irvin Associates, Vice Mayor Estimé-Irvin worked in various leadership roles in the non­ profit business sector and several political campaigns.

Vice Estimé-Irvin is known for her work in promoting community interests. Her dedication and activism earned her much recognition from community leaders and residents. Her focus areas include Youth & Women Empowerment, Minority Businesses, and Transportation.

To collaborate with neighboring Cities and Elected Officials, Councilwoman Estimé-lrvin has been re-appointed to the Board of Directors for the 2022-2023 Miami­ Dade County League of Cities, where she currently serves on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Development Committee. She also serves on the following boards under the Florida League of Cities: Transportation & Intergovernmental Relations Committee, Transportation and Infrastructure Services, Women in Municipal Government. Legislative Policy Committee, Florida Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, Nominating Committee, and Advocacy Committee. She also serves as a Board member on the Miami-Dade Beacon Council. Moreover, Vice Mayor Estimé-lrvin has recently been nominated as Chairwoman for the National Haitian American Elected Official Network.

Vice Mayor Estimé-lrvin was born and raised in New York City. In the late 1980s, her parents relocated to North Miami; the rest is history. As a single mother, she believes in setting an example for her son. Vice Mayor Estimé-lrvin dedicates her time to serving the North Miami District 3 residents. She was a member of business and community boards, including Secretary of the North Miami PAL, Chair of the North Miami Personnel Board, North Miami Senior Foundation, North Miami Chamber of Commerce, Vice­ Chair of the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board, and Secretary of the North Miami Educational Foundation. She is an alumnus of North Miami Senior High School and studied Management and International Business at Florida International University and Finance at Oakwood College.
