Co- Founder and President, Haiti Femmes & TIC

Native from Carrefour a city in south Port-au-Prince, Nadia JEAN CHARLES is Co-founder and currently President of Haiti Femmes & TIC (HFTIC), a non-for profit association of women existing since February 2015. HFTIC facilitates the integration of more women in the field of ICT, and provides training, workshop to girls and women then help them to use technology tools to strengthen their skills in order to create opportunities in their community.

In terms of “educate a woman is educating everyone”, Nadia strongly believes that the biggest and long-term investment someone can make is investing in education, especially women. Here is her philosophy that drives her passion to work with the community. Nadia has a master degree in computer science, she is a Young Leaders of Americas Initiative (YLAI) fellow she is also an Instructor of teenagers at Groupe Kiro de la Paroisse Croix-des-Missions.
