Nathalie Liautaud, M.A.

Ms. Liautaud is an international development professional with over 20 years’ experience in program and project management, executing local and regional programs and initiatives focused on economic growth and development, child protection and youth participation, gender mainstreaming, reconstruction, water and sanitation, and Diaspora and civil society engagement in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a particular focus on Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Ms. Liautaud is currently engaged in global health activities, to prevent zoonotic and transboundary animal diseases though improved animal nutrition and other actions, working under a private public partnership project at Cargill.

Ms. Liautaud has a long track record of working in small non-governmental organizations, private sector associations and independent think tanks, and has contributed to strategic and organizational development processes. An active contributor to the Haitian-American Diaspora community, Ms. Liautaud is a Board Member of the Haiti Renewal Alliance (HRA), and an Advisory Board member of the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP). Ms. Liautaud holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies and Master of Art in International Communications, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television- Film from the University of Texas, Austin. She is a proud Haitian-American-Mexican, grew up in Haiti, and is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Haitian Creole, and conversant in Portuguese.
